McKenzie State Recreation Area

Nestled on coastal cliffs in a cool grove Ironwood pine trees, McKenzie State Recreation Area provides picnic tables, restrooms, and camping areas. Spectacular views of this rugged, picturesque coastline and surrounding forest make McKenzie a great spot to camp and watch the sunrise, look for whales, or eat a relaxing lunch amongst the cool trees. McKenzie State recreation area is located along the Red Road (Hwy 137) between Isaac Hale Beach Park and Kalapana.
