Just a short walk from Kilauea Visitor Center lies the 1877 old Volcano House, now the home of Volcano Art Center. Over 300 artists display their works of art here; you can find glass art, photography, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and paintings. With each purchase, money goes toward the non-profit Volcano Art Center organization which helps promote Hawaiian culture by offering demonstrations, classes, and exhibitions.
